What this service is
FractaVolta deploys Cogentia for organizations that use AI in research, invention, design, writing, engineering, policy, or institutional decision-making and need to preserve human imputability.
The service does not sell the claim that AI invents, creates, or decides in place of humans.
It provides governed private or restricted corpora, AI-assisted exploration workflows, adverse review loops, and Human Contribution Views: probatory cumulative derived products extracted from the corpus to document the real, substantial, dated, attributable and contestable contribution of living humans.
Why it matters
AI-assisted work creates a new evidentiary problem.
A model may suggest, draft, recombine, simulate, search or classify. A human may frame the problem, select alternatives, transform outputs, test hypotheses, validate a result, sign a decision, or file a patent.
The strategic question is:
Where is the real human contribution, and can it be reconstructed from governed traces?
FractaVolta treats this as an infrastructure problem, not as a retrospective compliance layer.
What we provide
Governed private or restricted corpora
For sensitive R&D, invention, patent, trade-secret, institutional or community work, Cogentia can operate in a private or restricted visibility mode while preserving the same discipline as the public commons: traces, hypotheses, objections, continuations, decisions, source documents, and derived products.
Human Contribution Views
A Human Contribution View is not the source. The corpus is the source.
The view is an extracted, purpose-specific, probatory form that can support:
- patent-oriented invention work;
- copyright and creative-process documentation;
- internal R&D review;
- institutional accountability;
- KYS contribution profiles;
- defensive publication decisions;
- trade-secret assessment;
- dispute or audit preparation.
Patent-oriented routing
For invention-oriented work, Cogentia helps structure the path toward several possible exits:
- patent filing;
- trade secret;
- defensive publication;
- public source document;
- restricted memo;
- suspension;
- abandonment with trace.
The purpose is not to mechanically produce patents. It is to help an enterprise, laboratory or community explore technical possibilities while preserving human contribution, prior-art objections, and strategic routing decisions.
Adverse review and prior-art objections
Weak claims are liabilities. Cogentia preserves rejected alternatives, objections, failed branches, and reasons for abandonment.
A serious AI-assisted R&D process should make it easier to say no to a bad patent, not only easier to draft a filing.
KYS and PrivaAI compatibility
Contribution evidence can become sensitive. A person or organization may need to prove contribution without exposing the whole corpus.
The service is therefore designed to remain compatible with future PrivaAI governance and KYS contribution profiles: purpose-limited disclosure, contestability, privacy protection, audit, dispute resolution, and non-capture safeguards.
What we do not provide
FractaVolta does not provide:
- automatic invention claims;
- legal advice without qualified jurisdiction-specific counsel;
- patent trolling pipelines;
- human-washing of AI-only outputs;
- AI erasure when AI materially shaped the work;
- closed-source lock-in around the method;
- private capture of the Cogentia Commons public infrastructure.
Economic doctrine
Paid private R&D work should finance, harden and maintain the public commons.
Private AI-assisted R&D
→ governed private corpus
→ Human Contribution Views
→ stronger patent / secrecy / publication decisions
→ revenue
→ public Cogentia Commons maintenance
→ independent research and local capacity
This is the same non-extractive logic FractaVolta applies to energy, compute, and territorial infrastructure: private value may be created, but the method must reinforce shared capacity rather than enclosure.
Suitable partners
This service is relevant for:
- companies using AI in technical R&D;
- laboratories and engineering teams;
- patent-oriented inventors and SMEs;
- cultural or design organizations using generative AI;
- institutions needing traceable decision chains;
- communities building governed corpora;
- public-interest organizations that need accountability views.
